Club Championships
The finals are held at Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre in November each year. There are two sets of heats held during normal Session 1 and Session 2 Tuesday training times in September or October each year. The first six swimmers qualify for the final, if a swimmer chooses to withdraw from the final then the next qualifying swimmer will be invited to attend in their place. The categories are:
Beginners - swimmers in the 8 & under and 10 & under groups can take part in this 25m, any stroke race if they are:
- competing in no other finals
- in their first 12 months with the club
- swim in session 1
Entry for these races is taken on Championship day.
When attending the heats of the championships children should bring an extra towel for poolside, a top to wear between swims, a light snack and drink for between races.
