Directions to Pools

bulletArrive at the pool early so you are changed and poolside at least 10 minutes before the warm up begins. The team manager has to put in any changes and withdrawals at the start of the warm up so if you are not there you may find yourself withdrawn. If you are delayed but think you will still arrive in time to swim please phone the mobile number given on your competition slip and speak to the team manager.
bulletYou need to wear your club cap when competing for Burntisland and preferably a club costume. You can buy these from the club during a Tuesday training session.
bulletBring a spare towel and T shirt (preferably a club one) to wear poolside between swims. Club tracksuits are also available for purchase at a subsidised price. Pool shoes should also be worn.
bulletBring plenty of water to drink to prevent dehydration. Please see the healthy eating guide for what to eat and when.
bulletDO NOT leave the poolside without permission from the team manager.
bulletALWAYS check with the team manager before getting changed and going home.
